Earning your Lean Bronze Certification is now a 2-step process:

Step 1. You must acquire the knowledge to be able to demonstrate your solid understanding and application of lean principles, concepts, and methods and sit for the proctored online exam. Passing the Body of Knowledge exam provides you with an internationally recognized  Lean Knowledge Certificate.

Step 2. Full Lean Bronze certification requires you successfully submit a portfolio of lean experience in a prescribed format for review and approval within 3 years of attainment of the Lean Body of Knowledge Certificate.

This blended learning program prepares participants to understand the topics prescribed for the Lean Bronze Certificate and outlined in the Lean Certification Body of Knowledge* . Major components consist of:

2. Continuous Process Improvement
3. Consistent Lean Enterprise Culture
4. Business Results

This offering covers Step 1 Body of Knowledge training and exam prep only.

There is also a requirement to read 3 subject matter books.

The qualifying exam is a three hour, open book and open notes exam. It consists of approximately 165 multiple-choice questions mapped to the Body of Knowledge.

To pass the exam, you need to score 75% or higher.
